Coming from a family of upholsterers in Figueres, Francisco Bru, began making curtains, awnings and upholstery in 1963. Little by little he grew, including furniture and accessories.
During the 80s the company moved to its current location where nowadays there's about 5,000 m2 of showroom.
It is precisely in Figueres, through the family's friendship, where a great relationship with the famous painter Salvador Dalí arises. The artist commissioned Francisco Bru to advise and decorate his private residence in Cadaqués nowadays known as "Casa Museo Salvador Dalí Port-Lligat".
Later on he was also in charge of advising and decorating his castle known as "Castell Gala-Dalí Casa-Museo" located in Púbol and finally, the "Teatro-Museo Dalí" in Figueres, which has become the most important icon of the city.
